New Meaning Radio Part 1 was produced in collaboration with Swedish RAdio SRC in 2004. It features seven episodes of young people living in Oslo and Trondheim translated into Swedish from Scottish, Swahili, Arabic, Kurdish, Norwegian, English and French. It is, among other things, about the longing for a family that is far away, about the clash between the family's traditions and values and what exists in the surrounding society or about people's right to a home.
